I’ve compiled a list of the most commonly asked questions. If you have any questions that haven’t been answered here, feel free to email me.

Is CBD oil legal?

It’s important to understand the two different types of CBD on the market. Type number one is what we recommend on this site. This CBD is derived from the hemp plant and only contains trace amounts of THC. As of right now, it’s legal in all 50 states.

The other type of CBD is derived from the marijuana plant. It contains THC and is not legal federally or in states without a medical marijuana program.

Will CBD get me high?

This is a very common question since people associate cannabis with high. Let me be very clear about this. The CBD products that you’ll find on this website will not get you high. This confusion stems from their being two different types of CBD products. If the product was derived from the marijuana plant, then it will contain THC and therefore get you high. CBD that is derived from marijuana is still illegal federally and in most states as well.

The products we review on this website are derived from the hemp plant. They only contain trace levels of THC, and sometimes none, therefore they will not get you high. CBD derived from the hemp plant is legal in all 50 states.

Why does my package say “hemp” and not CBD?

This is a common labeling practice in the hemp derived CBD industry. Many companies do this so people don’t get their product confused with marijuana CBD. Somehow, postal workers sieze packages that they think are marijuana related. How they even see the label beats me. It’s an issue that I haven’t looked into since the hemp label workaround seems to be working nicely.

What’s the difference between CBD e-liquid and cartridges?

Cartridges and e-liquid (also called vape juice or e-juice) differ greatly. Both of them are awesome products, but one is a lot more potent and pure than the other. Cartridges are often times pure CBD, with the only additive being terpenes which are derived from the cannabis plant. Terpenes are added to enhance the flavor. With pure CBD cartridges, the oil is very strong and can be up to 40% CBD according to the lab results. When you vape a cartridge, you’re vaping pure cannabis and nothing else.

With e-liquids, you’re going to be vaping a lot of additives. The main additions in e-liquids are going to be propylene glycol (PG) or vegetable glycerin (VG). Those are the two main carrier oils that are used to make vape juice. These liquids are also commonly flavored just like traditional vape juice. The flavoring is usually composed of artificial ingredients. Of course, the e-liquid also has CBD oil added into the mix. The ratio of CBD to liquid will be a lot less than the ratio for cartrides, but you can still get pretty good bang for your buck.

Also, e-liquid can be vaped in your own vape pen or box mod but the oil in cartridges can only be vaped in the cartridge.
